BitTornado is an improved bittorrent client that was built on the original BitTorrent. It is the successor of Shad0w's Experimental Client, and is programmed by the same person. This client features an enhanced console/curses mode, lots of new features under the hood, and is generally one of the most advanced clients out there. It allows you to limit your bandwidth consumption, and provides more control over your torrents. It does everything the original bittorrent does, plus more. BitTornado looks a lot like the official BT client by Bram Cohen but has a few extra features that come in useful. It is one of the most used BT clients today and it's very fast and reliable. Get this if you need to limit your bandwidth, or you want more control of your torrents. BitTornado is programmed using Python, for platform independence.
