Piolet is a P2P file sharing tool, that enables you to share and download music faster and more easily, maximizing the capabilities of your connection. Searches go through the Piolet private p2p protocol, generating hundreds of productive results in a matter of seconds. The download streams are optimized for a non-HTTP mode, utilizing up to 100% of your available speed. In fact, during our review the average download speeds, even with 6 simultaneous downloads was between 15 and 30kb/s (using DSL), which is quite a difference over the usual 7kb/s or so we got with most other programs. The interface and features are similar to other popular clients. Features include a hotlist, user chat, library of shared files, firewall support and more. No banners, no popups, no adware, no spyware .
