KCeasy is a windows filesharing application which uses giFT as back end. Currently supported networks are OpenFT (A new network developed by the giFT project) and Gnutella (Shareaza, Gnucleus, LimeWire, Bearshare, XoloX). Originally, KCeasy included the giFT-FastTrack plug-in, to connect to the network used by Kazaa and Kazaa Lite. In April 2004, Kazaa copyright holders Sharman Networks threatened legal action against Markus Kern, the German author of KCeasy. Even though Kern maintains that reverse engineering of protocols for interoperability is legal under German law, he removed the giFT-FastTrack plug-in in KCeasy version 0.12 (released 17th April 2004) to avoid a legal fight. The plug-in is still developed and available from a third-party website. And of course KCeasy is completely spyware free and Open Source.

This release fixes the Gnutella connection problems due to the last release being older than one and a half years. Some other changes I made since the last release are also included, but I am currently no longer working on KCeasy.
